Registering your domain to protect future projects.

Webmastermind.com provides many services but most do not realize they can register domains with us. Using some of the big name registrars can be risky - many have unheard of fees even one day after your domain has expired.

I love use of technology like this!

Maybe its because of my other life as an artist / sculptor but I love use of technology like this. Stop motion animation always lives with me. Most of our clients don't know this is what I wanted to do with my life, but life points you in different directions - you take what you get and make changes later.

Adventures in bad web design.

People often get angry with me because I recoil in horror when I visit their website. I don't mean to be rude, but at this point, it's a reflex.

Of all of the website design companies on the planet, I'd suggest less than 20% have a semblance of a clue. It's sad, but it's like the rest of the tech industry in general. Microsoft Infringe Canadian Patent

After reading this article from the BBC, I think that most PC users will be forgiven a wry smirk of satisfaction. Following years of "Genuine Advantage Tools" (read: "Anti-Piracy Software") that can make getting the latest updates difficult if you don't install them, and moreover the corporation filing lawsuits to prevent circumvention of the Tool, Microsoft have themselves been contravening the intellectual property of a Canadian firm, i4i, who filed the patent for the increasingly popular Extensible Markup Language (XML).

Half Measures in Web Accessibility #1 - Font Sizes

Achieving Web Accessibility can be a very difficult task. New laws state that companies need to make their services and products accessible all users, regardless of any disability, and this requires extra attention when designing a website. Unfortunately, this has led many less-vigilant designers to offer solutions that are only half-measures in Web Accessibility.
